The universe of To all the boys I’ve loved still has a bright future ahead of it. If the saga of films, retracing the love life of Lara Jean Song Covey, has been a real success on Netflix, this time the streaming giant is interested in another member of the family. Indeed, a spin-off on the sister of Lara Jean has been ordered and will highlight Kitty (Anna Cathcart). In this spin-off series, Netflix sends teenage matchmaker Kitty Song-Covey halfway around the world on a romantic adventure all her own.
What can we expect from the series (To all the boys I’ve loved)?
To all the boys I’ve loved : This show made up of 10 half-hour episodes and entitled XO, Kitty will immerse us in a completely different setting since the young heroine will settle in South Korea. Moreover, the filming of this romantic comedy has officially started in Seoul. The series is the brainchild of co-showrunners and executive producer Jenny Han and Sascha Rothchild. And to the delight of fans, Netflix has added many actors to the cast of XO, Kitty . Those joining the original cast are Choi Min-yeong as Dae, Anthony Keyvan as Q, Gia Kim as Yuri, Sang Heon Lee as Min Ho, Peter Thurnwald as Alex andRegan Aliyah as Juliana. Yunjin Kim, Michael K. Lee, and Jocelyn Shelfo will also appear on the show in recurring roles.
Off to South Korea
In the official synopsis for this romance series (To all the boys I’ve loved), teenage matchmaker Kitty Song Covey thinks she knows everything there is to know about love. But when she travels halfway around the world to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend, she’ll soon realize that relationships are much more complicated when it’s your own heart that’s at stake . once again on the front of the stage.
